Anevia was born from the vision that video would transform our daily lives. And here we are indeed: radical changes are taking place in the video industry for content owners, service providers and audiences worldwide.

- The number of connected terminals will jump from 16.3 billion in 2015 to 26.3 billion in 2020

The rapid expansion of smart devices is transforming video consumption. People are looking for more freedom and comfort, accessing content at any time, from anywhere, and always with the best quality. They no longer accept buffering time, image freezing or black-screen. Whether at home or on-the-go, subscribers want internet access to all their media services: live, catch-up, recordings and video-on-demand. They want to control the timeline so they can pause, restart or start-over current Live TV events.
These new ways and trends pose a challenge to traditional delivery infrastructures, which are not optimized for video delivery. To address both the bandwidth and storage issues at hand, the industry needs to bring scalability, flexibility and cost optimization into the equation.
